Why Start A Blog?

Hi, I'm Tdaviscole, and I'm super excited to share with you reasons to start a blog. I'd like to start out by saying that blogging has completely changed my life.

Before I started my first blog I was a struggling single mother who was a slave to corporate America. I was literally living from paycheck to paycheck and many times I couldn't afford things like gas or food.

I'll never forget the hopeless feeling of knowing that I'd only earn 2 paychecks a month and they would be the exact same amount. Therefore, nothing would ever change.

I worked midnight shifts, holidays, weekends, and I found myself exhausted all the time. Yet, I can't tell you how many times I had to scrape together quarters just to buy bread, noodles, and milk.

Then I came across a mom who had discovered how to earn a living on the internet. I started following her on the web and I became a blogger mom too.

All Jokes Aside, Here Is What Blogging Has Done For Me.

The first thing that blogging did for me was it gave me hope. Have you ever lacked hope? It's a horrible feeling. Yet, when I discovered that there was a possibility that I could change my income. I found hope in that idea.

The second thing that blogging did for me was it provided me with a creative outlet. I was so trapped in my rugged routine that I never tapped into my own creative potential.  It's crazy how designing your blog and creating content for it can help you learn more about your creative self.

The third thing that blogging did for me was it awakened my passion. I realized how much I loved motivating people and providing valuable content for my readers. I found myself waking up each day excited because I had the entire world at my fingertips and that gave me a major opportunity to make a difference in someone's life.

Last but surely not least, blogging helped me earn the money that I needed to be a mom with options. Yes, building my business from home works great for me, but there are some people who like to go out to work. However, knowing that my blog was producing the kind of income that allowed me to be a stay at home mom made me proud. I especially enjoy the ability to drive my son to and from the school of my choice and the opportunity to transport him to extracurricular activities too.

We live a nice humble lifestyle and it's all possible through the comfort of my own home utilizing primarily a blog.
