Facing Hurricane Irma After Surviving Hurricane Harvey
A Houston Resident Declares "I Just Survived Harvey And Now I'm Facing Hurricane Irma In Florida"
<h1>According to CNN, a Houston Texas resident Brad Witworth conveys that he had survived Harvey and flew to his second home in Key Largo Florida, where he faces Hurricane Irma. Hurricane Harvey landed in South Eastern Texas in late August and dropped more than 21 trillion gallons of rain according to NBC News.<h1>
In addition to damage from the massive amount of rain fall, many people have lost their homes and some have even lost their lives. According to ABC News, 11 people were confirmed dead, one being a police officer, who drowned on his way to work. Additionally, 30 to 40,000 people were without a place to live. The damage to Texas is what led its resident Witworth to evacuate to Florida where he had another home. Yet days later he is being faced with Hurricane Irma.
"Hurricane Irma is the strongest storm to hit the Keys in 57 years." Witworth conveys that roofs are being destroyed and houses are being blown in.
<h2>Hurricane Irma, the most powerful hurricane in recorded history first landed in the Eastern Caribbean killing at least 3 people. The eye of the storm passed right over the Island of Barbuda killing at least one person. It later slammed Puerto Rico leaving 21 inches of water in some areas. Irma traveled up the coast of Florida ripping through Miami and is still roaming Florida at the moment.<h2>
What are the chances of one hurricane victim having to weather 2 storms? CNN conveys that it's bad news for the Florida Keys. Witworth has, most certainly, had his share of hurricane mishap having to survive both Harvey and Irma.
In the recent news here's what President Trump had to say about Hurricane Irma a storm he, unlike Witworth, experienced through the depiction of media and military personnel:
Yet, while Witworth's faces the devastation of 2 record breaking hurricanes, several tourists are battling it out in the Carribean. The girl's group had planned a vacation to the Carribean Islands and ended up stranded in St. MAARTEN.
The girls feared their lives because they were unable to get assistance off the Island before the worst of Irma arrived. 6 female tourist weathered the storm for 19 hours in the bathroom of their hotel while everything else around them was ripped to pieces.
