How Much Money Did Black Panther Make Opening Weekend Through Presidents' Day

It's been a long 3-day weekend as many Marvel fans wonder how much money did Black Panther make opening weekend through Presidents' Day?

The movie Black Panther was written by Joe Robert Cole and Ryan Coogler . The script is based on a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and created by Stan Lee.

The scene was pre-set in Captian America: Civil War, but no one had seen the Black Panther's world before now.

Stan Lee was very clear in his reasons for developing the character of the Black Panther and giving the Black Panther a platform of his own.

Some people saw the character development of the Black Panther as just another comic story erecting from the pages of a comic book to the big screen, while others saw it as a movement for change.

Time Magazine suggests that "Its themes challenge institutional bias, its characters take unsubtle digs at oppressors, and its narrative includes prismatic perspectives on black life and tradition." The Black Panther movie exposed decades of injustices that many choose to turn a blind eye to.

Many ethnic viewers of the film felt relieved that the issued faced by colored people of this nation and beyond was tactfully exposed on a big screen in which they could no longer be ignored.

Perhaps the subtle ploy for unity could loosen the dehumanizing grip of oppression, injustice, and police brutality faced by people color in today's society.

It is obvious that a movie can't solve the complexity of difficulties surrounding blacks of the 21st century, but with global ticket sales being $387 million dollars as of Presidents' Day, it would suggest that enough people saw the movie, Black Panther, to start a much-needed conversation of change.
